Murad’s Salon uses Google’s Business Profile services and APIs to access information associated with Murad’s Salon’s own Google Business Profile.

The Google Business Profile integration is authorised by an owner or authorised administrator of Murad’s Salon’s Google Business Profile.

Information obtained through the Google Business Profile integration may be used to:

• Display Google reviews relating to Murad’s Salon
• Display Murad’s Salon’s overall Google rating
• Display Murad’s Salon’s Google review count
• Display individual Google reviews on our website
• Associate reviews that mention a particular member of staff with that staff member on our website

Google review information displayed on our website may include information that the reviewer has chosen to make publicly available through their Google review, such as their display name, profile image (where available), star rating, review text, review date, and photographs associated with the review (where available).

Murad’s Salon does not sell Google user data.

Google Business Profile information obtained through the integration is not used by Murad’s Salon for third-party advertising.

Our use of information received from Google APIs complies with applicable Google API Services policies.

5. Google account access

Customers do not need to provide Murad’s Salon with access to their own Google account to use our normal online booking service.

The Google Business Profile API connection used by our website is authorised by Murad’s Salon to access information relating to Murad’s Salon’s own Business Profile.

OAuth credentials and tokens are used only as necessary to maintain this authorised connection and operate the Google Business Profile integration described above.

6. Cookies and browser storage

Our website uses a small amount of cookies and browser storage where necessary to provide website functionality and remember preferences:

• A single cookie remembers a customer’s selected language, so the website continues to show their preferred language on a later visit.
• If a customer creates an account or signs in, their session is kept using secure browser storage so they do not need to sign in again on every visit.
• Our own first-party analytics uses an anonymous identifier stored in the browser to understand general website usage, such as which pages are visited and which buttons are used. This identifier is not linked to advertising and is not shared with third-party advertising or tracking networks.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
